BNR spins a throwback to 2008 with a reissue of their debut compilation BNR Vol. 1. These aren't the newest tracks out there, but anything coming out of Boysnoize Records is at least a year ahead of it's time so some of these tunes can still sound fresh to the ears. 29 tracks packed into 1 release, there's a lot to chew on from Siriusmo, Housemeister, Les Petits Pilous, D.I.M. and the man himself. Among my favourites are the sounds of PUZIQUe, a collaborative side project housed by Boys Noize and D.I.M.. As of late, these two have put their efforts on hold but listening to them now I feel like this is Falcon and Bangalter on Berlin electro.
