Here to give you a weekly update of the great music contest still in the works called Face the Music by SIRIUS, the guys who brought you satellite radio. They've put together a fun little "name that tune" game for you to win a trip to the concert of your choice if you beat the high score. But this isn't just a winner takes all deal. Face the Music is also giving fans across Canada the chance to win an intimate concert with a lineup of major Canadian artists in their own hometown! We're keeping you up to date with Central Ontario and I have to say all the small town kids are killing it and I love it. Kingsville, Sault Ste. Marie placing 2nd and 3rd, and who's in first? Hilton Beach, population? 172 people, WOW. So is the whole town in on this? Either way, imagine cramming every single person living in this small township in the same room as big Canadian groups like Broken Social Scene and Bedouin Soundclash. If you haven't taken a shot at it yet, it's not too late. The scores are tallied in each city so you can still help out you're native party rockers by taking the challenge HERE. It takes less than a smoke break and you could win a free show in your city fronted by your favourite Canadian bands. Check the regional lineups below, it's all going down this summer in August West: Sam Roberts Band and The Trews Central: Broken Social Scene and Bedouin Soundclash Quebec: Marie Mai and Alfa Rococo East: City and Colour and K-OS EARMILK will be repping the Central and we'll be giving away ticket and SIRIUS freebies while keeping you all up to date with how our region is doing in the coming weeks. The game starts HERE, so stand up and face the music!
