Night Rumours – It's what keeps you up at night. From the basement to the bright lights – you're here today because you love dance music and want a little more wamp. Hitting Electro, EDM, Techno and back — every week, Amperror (aka electblake) will bring you the next wave of floor burners. It's not a sundae, it's a massacre.

It's been 10 weeks, which may not seem like much (when you see 83 over at #SS) but I dare you to listen to them all back to back, and then think about how many tracks I have listened to to come across this "shortlist" – it's mind boggling at times. But I suppose I'm addicted, right now – to some new Foamo (Who deserves far more credit then he gets outside of the UK), some dark techo a la Parisian de Gesaffelstein, and of course a healthy serving of dance prog pop that I just can't seem to get away from – namely Gigamesh this week (who's headlining POP Kult!), and some new Futurecop!

POP KULT! – WEEK 3

Oh, In other news…

This week I have 2 gigs coming up (Oct 27th & Oct 28th) which I'm very excited about. I'm going to be testing a lot of these new tracks and put my speakers where my fingers are. I'm sure you've been as curious (as I am) about what a stomp set would sound like coming from this (/me motions to all of himself), so it sounds as though there will ample opportunity this week heh. It'll be alot of electro house, techno & fidget aka the hallmark of Night Rumours.

Although I've been previously billed as the familiar ELECT BLAKE for POP Kult! (my current pop moniker) these shows will be under Amperror which you may have already noticed is what I like to dj the wamp stomp under. Anyway, like me on facebook for updates and if you are around Toronto this week, feel free to hit me up at one of the following this:

  • Oct 27th: Barletta "NO CHAMPAGNE" Release Party + Earmilk Affair, at Andy Pool Hall
  • Oct 28th: Only At Night – Halloween, at Tota

Ok, now enough about me and my feeble attempts at local dj notoriety – lets get back to you.
