Daily 2% – Chilled and Ready to Serve [Benga]

4 years ago written by

This is your Daily 2% – Chilled and Ready to Serve. We will try to bring you one “chill” track every day. This is for when you get home and you are trying to unwind. You reach for that glass of wine or that unlit Black & Mild or maybe you reach for something more herbal. This track is for those times. We are just your milkmen and I’m here to make a delivery. Chill…..

From the depths of Croydon you get Benga. He’s 1/3 of Magnetic Man along with Skream and Artwork. His first length LP release Diary of a Afro Warrior featured dirty dub as well as some Daily 2% kind of stuff with his tune Emotions. Imagine punching your ticket to sail across the sea and not being able to find your way. It’s fine because the captivating snyths of Benga will keep you focused. I’m happy to say I’ll be interviewing him as well as Skream. Any questions for the OG Dubstep dons?

@Croydon, you gotta ask them what advice would they give to aspiring producers.

I think one question that a lot of DJ producers have is whether the two of them feel that Magnetic Man is its own sound or if it just a blend of their two styles. Does 1 and 1 have to equal 2 or can it just be 11.

Just an FYI, Magnetic Man is a three people; Skream, Benga, AND Artwork. So, I think you mean is it a sound of its own or is it a blend of all three of their styles. Does 1, 1, and 1 have to equal 3 or can it just be 111. :)

    is comprised of three people*
