Night Rumours - Week 14
01.09.2012 Blake Edwards

Night Rumours - It's what keeps you up at night. From the basement to the bright lights - you're here today because you love dance music and want a little more wamp. Hitting Electro, EDM, Techno and back -- every week, Amperror (aka electblake) will bring you the next wave of floor burners. It's not a sundae, it's a massacre.
Welcome to 2k12, I'm not sure where it's going to take us (or maybe I'm not sure which road presented will be followed) but I'm pretty excited. Maybe the 2step kids will give way to more underground genres and the djs can reclaim the genre they created - wouldn't that be swell.
To start off this new block of 300 and 65 days I bring you some of The 2 Bears, Drums of Death, a neat Tocadisco remix of Azzido Da Bass, some "older" Sidney Samson, Diplo, and some band from Moguai + Afrojack.
Contained within the tomb below, is the previously unreleased Eric Prydz remix of the intoxicating M83 track "Midnight City", a song who's haunting vocal simplicity and rhythmic bass section have always had me hooked. That being said, I feel a tad underwhelmed about this unreleased material. It's like watching the deleted scenes of a film, very quickly into the endevour you realize why they were cut, and the alure of new gives way to the reality of quality over quantity - anyway, enjoy it and the rest and have a swell year.
