A few weeks ago I introduced you to SPLASHH, a surf pop outfit off Art is Hard records that's really making waves in the blogosphere. Well, now their labelmates Best Friends are having a big release, their new record Throwing Up comes out tomorrow, so head on over to Art Is Hard's Tumblr and pre-order that shit (shit being a good thing).
Their FREE track "Wasting Time" is more than just beachy-laziness with lo-fi vox, it's an incredibly clever song with some fun melodies shared between the guitar and voice, "you make ME FEEL SO UNREAL!" The bass and drums lock in for the perfect surf-rock thump, and every song on the record is just as good.
