Thundercat - "Walkin'" [Video]
04.13.2012 Adrian Smith

Flying Lotus' protégé Thundercat's debut The Golden Age of Apocalypse was one of best albums of 2011. After various fan-made videos surfaced on YouTube and Vimeo in the months following the release of his album, the electric bass virtuoso has released some official visuals for the smooth Michael McDonald-esque track "Walkin'."

The video, directed by Holly & Kelly Port, is chock full of cameo appearances from some fellow West Coast residents such as the lovely Havana GingerTaz Arnold (1/3 of the experimental hip hop group Sa-Ra), Miguel, J*DaVey and Shia LaBeouf (well...sort of) among others. FlyLo makes a truly killer (yes, pun intended) cameo at the end of the vid. Peep the entertaining clip and if for some mysterious reason you haven't already, check out The Golden Age of Apocalypse available via Brainfeeder and on iTunes.
