While hard at work on his forthcoming project The Darkest Hour, promising emcee The ILLZ has unveiled his new single "Closer." On his latest offering, the Jersey emcee keeps things simple production wise, utilizing a lone sample of Australian indie rock band The Temper Trap's "Soldier On." Lyrically, The ILLZ comes correct, spitting quotable lines such as, "when I'm walking on a tightrope all I really ever have is hope".
