The weekend has come and gone, and now you're deep into your weekly grind. Never fear, Wobble Wednesday is back with more of your favorite face-melting bass drops to help you make the most of your mundane lifestyle. Today I'll be guiding you along through the many variations of bass music that we see these days, new and old. I wanted to turn the Wobble Wednesday feature into more than just a section for today's dubstep, so I decided it was only right to incorporate some drum & bass as well as a summer time mix of the week section into the weekly feature.

You'll be hearing amazing bass-driven tunes from the softer, chiller side of dubstep to the filthy, grimier side that everybody loves to rage to. I'll also dip into the world of drum & bass as well as add some classic tunes from the 'golden age' of dubstep. All I ask from you guys is to enjoy and download. Once the weekend hits, steal the iPod at the party and throw on these songs. Guarantee it will make the place jump!

BASS

This week Zeds Dead drops an epic remix of Colin Munroe's "The Fight Of My Life" featuring Pusha T. The bass line in this is absolutely smashing. The preview a couple of weeks back got everyone all hyped up for this track and the full release doesn't disappoint. I guess the only thing missing is… Omar LinX? Oscillator Z has been on a tear lately messing around with his different sounds. This week's release of "Impulse" has to be one of my more recent favorites from Oscillator. This song reminds me of the days when "Infiniminer" was being played everywhere. Must say, he's back in his prime.

FILTH

It's been a while since we heard anything new from our favorite dirty south dubstep producer, Crizzly. This week he came out with a collaboration with AFK that remixes "Chain Hang Low" into a filthy dub track. Flinch released his newest EP yesterday, and yes it is free via Scion A/V. I included the self-titled track "Underwater," but be sure to cop the entire EP.

DRUM & BASS

This week's drum & bass goes from heavy, hard-hitting tracks to soft chiller tunes, and everything in between. Noisia dropped a new one called "Blindfold" that's probably the hardest of the four included. I'm pretty sure I scared the neighbors below me when I was playing this one last night. My apologies bros that live below me, we can't all be down with Dave and Sublime… Anyway, this new Ramses B track is a lot more mellow. The soft vocals of Holly Drummond and the melodic chords work perfectly to make this chill dnb tune a masterpiece.

CHILL

I've been waiting a long while to feature a 6blocc song. He has to be one of my favorite original dubstep producers. This remix of "How High" shows you what he's all about, mixing hip-hop origins with his signature heavy bass lines. For more 6blocc, be sure to check out his 10 minute mix here, which includes the dopest "Simon Says" remix that will ever exist. Also included in this section is a new one from Xilent called "Clear Your Mind" as well as "Friend" by Blackmill.

MIX OF THE WEEK

This week's mix is by dubstep and moombahton producer, Bro Safari. This was released this past spring and has some serious bangers included in this half hour-long mix. This mix varies in genre from filthy dubstep, to moombahton, to trap and everything in between. Artists included are Diplo, Alvin Risk, Dillon Francis and Flosstradamus to name a small few. This mix is an intro to some of the summer's current hits.
