The weekend has come and gone, and now you're deep into your weekly grind. Never fear, Wobble Wednesday is back with more of your favorite face-melting bass drops to help you make the most of your mundane lifestyle. Today I'll be guiding you along through the many variations of bass music that we see these days, new and old. I wanted to turn the Wobble Wednesday feature into more than just a section for today's dubstep, so I decided it was only right to incorporate some drum & bass as well as a summer time mix of the week section into the weekly feature.

You'll be hearing amazing bass-driven tunes from the softer, chiller side of dubstep to the filthy, grimier side that everybody loves to rage to. I'll also dip into the world of drum & bass, as well as add some classic tunes from the 'golden age' of dubstep. All I ask from you guys is to enjoy and download. Once the weekend hits, steal the iPod at the party and throw on these songs. Guarantee it will make the place jump!

BASS

Our good friend Croydon is stuck in Thailand, and all he has are a bunch of Thai prostitutes to keep him company. Terrible life. He had to release a new moombahton EP to afford a plane ticket back to the states. I added the track "To The Moon (Yaba Edit)" for you guys to listen to and if you ever want to see him back in the states, help him out here.

FILTH

Zeds Dead released their new EP featuring Omar LinX, I supplied you guys with the track "The Living Dead" a few weeks back, and this week I'm adding their track "Crank". Alvin Risk released a second part to his hit remix of "We Are Young" by Fun. This goes a lot harder than the first, which was more house heavy.

DRUM & BASS

It looks to be a busy time over at the DOOM records studio, with a new drumstep remix by the Killabits of "Wait" by Adventure Club, as well as a new original mix by Figure called "The Last Dawn".

CHILL

The Leroy Peppers remix of "Yo Vogue" is a little different from the others in the mix, yet still very bass heavy. I'm actually afraid to listen to the original because it might take away from this amazing remix. It's been a while since Phear Phace put out something new, but this week we're lucky enough to hear "You Don't Have To Worry".

MIX OF THE WEEK

This week's mix comes to us from Jack Beats en lieu of their new upcoming mini-album Careless. This will be part one of a two-part album coming in the next few months and includes collaborations with artists like Diplo, Dillon Francis, Example and Takura. They believed chopping up the album into two parts works better with their sound. You be the judge.
