The weekend has come and gone, and now you're deep into your weekly grind. Never fear, Wobble Wednesday is back with more of your favorite face-melting bass drops to help you make the most of your mundane lifestyle. Today I'll be guiding you along through the many variations of bass music that we see these days, new and old. I wanted to turn the Wobble Wednesday feature into more than just a section for today's dubstep, so I decided it was only right to incorporate some drum & bass as well as a summer time mix of the week section into the weekly feature.
You'll be hearing amazing bass-driven tunes from the softer, chiller side of dubstep to the filthy, grimier side that everybody loves to rage to. I'll also dip into the world of drum & bass as well as add some classic tunes from the 'golden age' of dubstep. All I ask from you guys is to enjoy and download. Once the weekend hits, steal the iPod at the party and throw on these songs. Guarantee it will make the place jump!
BASS
We've got some new bangers in the bass department. First off, Plastician released a new track, to remind people why he's still a force to be reckoned with in the game. Next, the first single off Robotic Pirate Monkey's upcoming EP, HEAT.WAV, has been dropped, called "Banana Cannon". Lastly I'd like to point out that producer Aylen officially released his On Fire EP which I included the original below, and as well the Cy Kosis remix under Filth.

FILTH
Electro/dubstep producer Le Castle Vania releases a new track this week called "Play Loud" that goes absolutely bonkers! Also with the release of Flinch's newest single EP, Dream also releases a new EP this week, through OWSLA. Flinch's remix to Dream's "This Isn't House" can be found below.

I know, this section's pretty stale this week. Come on people, make more chillstep again. Anyway, the ones we've got are pretty prime. The new remix by Kill Paris takes the cake. I'm loving the electro pop feel that all their tracks have.

MIX OF THE WEEK
This week's mix comes from Heroes x Villians as a sort of wind down to the summer mix. This isn't your typical dubstep mix, actually it's tough to even justify that this is a dubstep mix at all. Most of the songs are very future bass heavy and hip hop beat inspired, including songs from Hudson Mohawke, Nacey, Kastle and Myrryrs.
