Less than a month ago, Cry Wolf unleashed a sonorous remix of The Knife's "You Make Me Like Charity". Today, the North Carolina based wolf pack are returning with a remix of another much favored experimental artist, Múm. Múm's track titled "The Ballad of Broken Birdie Records" is a serene instrumental with gentle touches of atmospheric glows but Cry Wolf recreated all of that in their notorious electronic manner. The boys began the mix with synthesized voices, then a quiet piano melody creeping into the background as an eerie child-like harmony serenades to the later beat distortions. Cry Wolf has transformed "The Ballad of Broken Birdie Records" to a haunting dance lullaby and much like a "dreamscape". Since we are premiering this track, that means you have first dibs on the first listen and the ability of hearting this on hype machine. Go ahead and do away.
