The Club - Week 37 [Part 2]
08.30.2012 Kevin Gaughan

It's been far too long since the last tech house round up, so this week's Part 2 of The Club is about is big as they get. Seven hours of percussion driven, bass heavy techno & tech house that really gets your feet moving. If your a fan of Mario Ochoa, Stefano Noferini, and Umek then your in luck because I've got several tracks from each.

Also featuring a few times today is Koen Groeneveld, who's pounding bass lines and minimal percussion seem to blend perfectly with each release (of which there are 3 today). My Digital Enemy, another recent favourite of mine, makes a few appearances today, including remixing alongside a duo that I play out when I perform more often than any other artist, Prok & Fitch with "Rocker". One of my top 3 songs of the summer.

Booka Shade dropped his Honeyslave EP, and while it may go a bit deeper than most of the tracks here today, it doesn't disappoint in dance-ability. Both songs on the release deserve some recognition, as each in its own way manages to capture something distinct and interesting. Also feauturing on The Club today is Weekend Heroes, who's productions continue to impress week after week. Their latest, "Slide", borders on progressive house but I had to include it here in this package just in case you tech DJs wanted to drop a massive bomb on the dance floor at your next show.

If you love the music like I do, make sure you support the artists and purchase the music at a music outlet such as Beatport or similar!
