Soothsayers - "The Streets of London" [Premiere]
09.08.2012 Shane Carrick

"The Streets of London" was recorded by Ralph McTell in 1974. Almost 40 years later, London's Soothsayers are breathing new life into the same song for a compilation record entitled London's Calling.  Soothsayers use smooth, laid-back three-part harmonies to transform this soulful track into a mellow afrobeat, reggae masterpiece.

The song, along with two dub versions, will be released on October 1 by Red Earth Records - only you lucky Earmilkers get this track early. If you're feeling this then stay tuned for Soothsayers's upcoming album Human Nature.
