Later this week the A3C Hip-Hop Festival returns to the great city of Atlanta for its eighth year running, and all signs are pointing to this year's festival being bigger and better than ever. Between Thursday, Oct 11th and Saturday, Oct 13th Atlanta will be the epicenter for the largest hip-hop gathering in the US. Known throughout the hip-hop world for bringing together a collection of both established, up-and-coming and underground artists, this year's festival has expanded to include over six stages and 300+ artists. A3C 2012 will surely be the hot ticket for hip-hop fans and festival goers this fall.
Since 2005, the festival has featured over 600 of the most elite artists in hip-hop including: Rakim, Buckshot, DJ Premier, The Juice Crew, Biz Markie, Del the Funky Homosapien, MURS, The Clipse, Little Brother, Wale and B.o.B among others. With a sprawling six-stage venue in Atlanta's Little Five Points neighborhood, A3C is the premier event for hip-hop fans to witness performances from some of the best picks of the industry, as well as attend educational and community programming, panel discussions and workshops.
Following the success of last year's Blog Party stage at A3C, EARMILK has partnered with reputable brands Rocksmith and Creative Revolution Union to present the Right Brain Stage this upcoming Saturday, October 13. Headlined by Black Hippy's self-proclaimed "deep thinker" Ab-Soul, the showcase's 12-man lineup includes a diverse group of rappers hailing from across the United States. In addition to the talent-packed Right Brain stage EARMILK favorites Add-2, Rapsody, Oddisee ,Chip Tha Ripper (a.k.a King Chip), Mikkey Halsted, Shawn Chrystopher, L.E.P. Bogus Boys and a host of other EM-supported artists are set to take to the stage during the three-day festival.
Check out profiles of several artists included in the Right Brain Stage below, and look out for the EARMILK x Elschmitty Right Brain Stage mix which will include a curated selection of music from artists included in the Right Brain Stage.
