It's Wednesday October 31st, Halloween, the day where it's okay to be scared out of your shorts and egg the house that gave you fruit instead of candy. If there was one genre of music that belonged to the demons and ghouls it would undoubtedly be dubstep. The hard-hitting bass thumping sounds seem to rupture the ground, opening up some sort of demonic gateway from hell. This week I'm taking a short break from the normal categories that we've come to recognize (i.e. deleting the Chill section) and instead paying homage to this great holiday by supplying some of the best Halloween themed tunes that I could muster up.
In this line-up I decided to choose as many quality fresh and new Halloween tracks as possible as well as choosing some of my own personal favorites from last year and beyond. All of these tunes have a combined eerie feel and emotion with plenty of grit and filth when it comes to these bass lines.
