Gaëtan N'Zala AKA Heaphone remains a bit of a mystery. Besides his real name, all I know after having tried to research the guy is that he is from Fort de France, Martinique (big up Madinina) but currently lives in France. Biographical information aside, one thing is clear, Headphone's got game. Although you could officially classify his music as 'dancehall', he walks a different path. His smooth voice sings a conscious creole song — one that promotes hope and peace in the struggle. "Pasaj Piéton" is my favorte track off his mixtape, Believe.
