3.A.M. - "Struttin" [Exclusive Premiere]
01.24.2013 Colin Tewksbury

Though our previous posts on 3.A.M. featured remixes, the quality of which brought into question when an edit crosses into something much more, today we have an original track from the three Canadians. Honestly, I shouldn't have been surprised at the superiority of their skill, but this work still blew my expectations away. What you have with “Struttin” – the perfect blend of electronic with a strong house flare (dare I say it reminds me of Daft Punk?). The running chords keep the song moving along as a heavily distorted voice makes appearances throughout the track; this is exactly what I want to hear in a set when things start slipping into the crazy. With original productions like this, 3.A.M. has every right to have a swagger in their step.
