Paris 96 (Theophilus London & Jessie Boykins III) - "Afternoon"
02.09.2013 Chief Bosompra

The past year has seen a host of artists reinventing not only their sounds but their public persona. We have seen this in a number of forms. Be it the merging of two popular artists like TNGHT's Lunice and Hudson Mohawk did or an artist changing their name à la Tity Boy now known as 2 Chainz did. The newest group is made up of the experimental and very creative Theophilus London and Jessie Boykins III. Their joint offering is called Paris 96, most likely conceived from the amount of time both artist spend in the city. The group's first single "Afternoon" encompasses the style of both artists to create a relaxed electronic feel. Their debut EP is expected to release this April.
