Techibeats Records may be a new kid on the block, but the San Francisco based label recently has had some serious success with its young artists. While DSCO’s Year Of The Snake EP currently climbs Beatport’s charts, it was just over a month ago that AndDrop!’s Boogaloo EP claimed, and held onto, the number one spot of Beatport’s Top 100 Releases. As a follow up to this accomplishment, the AndDrop! trio (Joe Wiseman and brothers Harris and Sylvain Kauffman) decided to release a free download that builds on Boogaloo’s sound. “Can’t Explain It” takes the EP’s signature mid, adding a pulsing synth that recalls Proxy’s “Raven” and a melodic break with Nxsty’s vocals.
