Toronto native and Bakers Club member The 6th Letter showcases his talents on Earmilk for the first time with his latest drop "honeyBERRYwoodz". Not even legal in the United States, this young emcee is virtually a household name among hip-hop fans in the city of Toronto, releasing mixtapes such as What The F and Go Green.
His smooth, laid-back flow has garnered him a strong online following. He never misses a beat, tweeting "4:20" every morning and evening for the past couple years. His music caught the attention of Neako an affiliate of Wiz Khalifa, which introduced even more stoners to his go green movement. His latest release, "honeyBERRYwoodz", remains consistent to 6's work. With a calm jazz-like instrumental courtesy of The Purist, he comes in and delivers exactly what one would expect, smooth lyrics you can nod your head and roll one up to.
Last week he and fellow Bakers Club member Raz Fresco gave Vice magazine a tour of their favorite spots in Toronto before playing a sold-out party alongside alternative jazz group BadBadNotGood. This young artist and his team are making the right strides and are setting themselves up to be the next big hip-hop artists from the north.
