Misterwives – Reflections [EP]

There is a resurgence in pop today, especially the experimental, dreamy side of it. A perfect example of the crusaders behind the movement is Misterwives, a lucid band with a tad bit soul and a whole lot of beautiful lyrics. The New York natives behind the magic have been considered the "Soon-to-be" reigning indie-pop band of 2014, and my prediction falls nowhere short of that.

They just released the five-track Reflections EP, showcasing their true talent as an indie pop mogul. The title track "Reflections" is the free single of the week on iTunes, ensuring the band some needed success with the new EP. The band takes us on a trip through their heartbreaks and anger, leading up to an emotional yet happy self-expression found in "Imagination Infatuation." You can purchase the EP on iTunes or stick to Soundcloud streaming, but whatever you do make sure you watch for this group in 2014 as they grow more rapidly with each release.
