From beginnings as a trained ballerina to enlisting in the Canadian Navy, 25-year-old singer/songwriter Kiesza has lived anything but an ordinary life. Now, however, the current New York resident has entered a completely different world from her past. Joining us in the entertainment industry, the young talent presented herself to the music world with her lead single, “Hideaway”. Fusing elements of pop and electro, the vocal beauty hit the ground running with early support from some key players in the game, including Annie Mac who premiered the debut single on her Mac's Special Delivery segment.
Now the single comes complete with an equally dance-worthy video that features the singer busting out some of her top notch dance moves on some very urban streets. Filmed in one take in Williamsburg, New York, the video for 'Hideaway' features spine-tingling dancing (five styles learnt in three days) in homage to some of the greatest musical icons of our lifetime.
The Hideaway EP drops March 24th via Lokal Legend and is packed with deep house grooves and shimmering pop melodies. Stay tuned!
