The baring, overdriven sounds of drum and bass are inescapable, regardless if you're a casual fan or a diehard stepper. Brighton duo The Prototypes, made up of Chris Garvey and Nick White, aren't new comers to the scene. From remixing the likes of everyone from Swedish sensation Avicii to the always nice AlunaGeorge, the duo have been making moves in the world of D&B for quite some time. With the release of their new tracks "Pale Blue Dot" and Lights," the Viper Recordings signed duo was kind enough to create an exclusive minimix for your enjoyment. Whereas the first track takes a Carl Sagan quotable (similar to what Pendulum did with their now classic hit, "Slam") and transforms it into an earth shattering, dance floor killer, "Lights" features a commanding and bouncy synth heavy beat to light the whole room up.

Both "Pale Blue Dot" and "Lights" are out now and will be featured on their upcoming album, City of Gold. Be sure to pick both tracks up and show The Prototypes some love before they become a household name in the drum and bass world.
