It speaks a lot to a new artist's potential when they get signed to a label like Spinnin. Spinnin' Deep has been procuring the next big names and sounds in the deeper realms of dance music, and they've chosen Watermät to join the cause. And though the label is a major tastemaker on the map, we don't know much about Watermät, but sometimes hearing the music is just enough. It seems Pete Tong has felt the same way about this artist: after hearing Watermät's debut single in a Tube & Berger set while down in Miami, he picked it up and chose it as his Essential New Tune this past week. The track is "Bullit," and it's quite a mixed bag: the cheerful featured melody is paired with a daunting one, giving the whole track a feeling of a Disney movie, with good versus evil. Check out the track below ahead of its May 19th official release.
