These past few months have been massive for Dutch producer Rogier de Kreuk aka Rodg as he can do no wrong, releasing a beautiful trance remix of Beyoncé’s “Haunted,” a minimalist single “Hot Merchandise,” and most recently his chillout track “Perfect Night,” all to impressive reviews. This January, he shows no signs of slowing down with the release of “Someone Said,” out January 12th on Statement! Recordings.

Right from the beginning, Rodg sets the tone for the track with wandering synths and the heady, driving trance beat that has helped propel him into the spotlight. Understated piano chords help anchor the track and are the perfect backdrop to overlay Patrick Baker’s raspy vocals. Baker’s wanting voice melds in perfectly with the track, not overpowering the beauty below but combining with it to create an incredible listening experience. This is one track you will definitely not want to miss.

You can pick up a copy of this track January 12th on Beatport.
