Welsh indie outfit Meadowlark’s sound is a beautiful blend of the melancholic indie-folk sound of Bon Iver and the compelling vocals and lyrics of A Fine Frenzy. The duo released their first record Three Six Five back in May of 21014 and are gearing up to release their follow-up record, Dual EP via Believe on May 30th, 2015. Meadowlark has a style that is captivating and enchanting, led by the strong but airy vocals of past-solo artist Kate McGill. Today the duo released “Eyes Wide,” their first single off the forthcoming record and it did not disappoint. The song is a simple yet profound and pristinely crafted. Kate sings of dreams and doing and it as if you are floating through a daydream with her. For anyone across the pond in the UK, Meadowlark will be playing an album release party on Tuesday March 24th at Servants Jazz Quarters in London. Ticket for this show will go on sale tomorrow and a free signed copy of the EP will be given out with each ticket bought.

Following the singles' release, Meadowlark provides a music video that is fitting for the title track. Directed by fellow band member Daniel Broadley exhibits cinematography as beautiful as the single and dream like visuals that will have you living with your eyes wide.
