Mashup Monday – We’re going to melt you faces off with enough mashed up music to make you wanna slap yo’ mama.  itstk will be bringing you the dopest dope in the mashup world. We’ve been scouring the music lands, and filing through tracks that you enthusiastic readers and musicians have sent us. We’ve found mashups from DJ’s far and wide. We’ve found down-tempo ones. We’ve found super fast and beaty ones. Short ones and long ones. Ones that you wanna sit back and enjoy, and ones that will make you want to rage all over a dance floor. We think we’ve done our part. Let’s get s-mashed.

Now if your mashup is lucky enough to be featured on Earmilk, and we don’t list your name (sometimes we can’t find it!) then shoot us an email or comment below and we can add it. Also, keep in mind we want all of you to send us everything you got. We’re gonna be doing this here thang weekly, so send em’ on. Im a huuuge mashup fan, but its rare that we ever post them on Earmilk. So I was checking out the archives today and came across this..the Hood Internet mashup of Billie Jean and Wildcat,  instantly rekindled my love for this joint and couldn’t stop myself from posting. The King of pop himself, Michael Jackson, and the greatest eleontronic duo out of NY, RATATAT,  why I didn’t put it up earlier.. I’ll never know. This shit is so ill your brain will straight explode. If you do, or don’t already know, Hood Internet are basically the kings of mashups, to prove it we included some of our favorites.. newies and oldies.

Alright, these dude’s need no introduction. At this years Bonnaroo fest, the Beastie Boys got on stage and performed with the illmatic, Nas. The tune is supposed to be a track from their new album Hot Sauce Committee dropping in September. This will be the band’s first album with lyrics since 2004’s To The 5 Boroughs. Their last album, 2007’s The Mix-Up was an instrumental album. Here is a quote from Ad-Rock on the new album:

It’s a lot of vocals, a lot of words — very wordy, and it’s political, depending on what you call political. You know, if toilet talk and fart jokes are political, which they can be, in that sense yeah, very.
