Ok so their new album was released a couple months, so this is more of an introduction to those who still havent been blessed by the up-beat, synth-poppy, guilty pleasure of goodness. Owl City is that band that when you hear a song, you cautiously look around to make sure you’re alone and sing aloud. Owl City was formed back in 2007 and is the bastard child of Adam Young, he’s celebrating his third album release recently entitled Ocean Eyes.. his first album release under a label, Universal Republic.

As soon as you start listening to the songs, you’ll immediately notice how much Owl City resembles Postal Service. Not just in the dreamy and atmospheric beats, but the vocals as well.. he sounds a lot like Ben Gibbard. So I included a bunch of tracks off their new album below, cause I’m sure a majority of you aren’t 15 year old teenyboppers. Also included the “Fireflies” video, which is actually pretty dope, and Adam is currently on tour so the remaining tour dates are below too.. so check it out and enjoy:
