Today’s delivery is brought to you by Jacob Miller who was a major influence on roots reggae back in the 70’s when Bob Marley was in the scene. I talked about this song last year but I think its a great song to play near the beginning of 2010 to really give a good message for the year. This track is called “Forward Ever Backward Never” and truly is a way of thinking that everyone should incorporate into their lives. Mashup Monday – We’re going to melt you faces off with enough mashed up music to make you wanna slap yo’ mama. Earmilk staff itstk and JSully will be bringing you the dopest dope in the mashup world. We’ve been scouring the music lands, and filing through tracks that you enthusiastic readers and musicians have sent us. We’ve found mashups from DJ’s far and wide. We’ve found down-tempo ones. We’ve found super fast and beaty ones. Short ones and long ones. Ones that you wanna sit back and enjoy, and ones that will make you want to rage all over a dance floor. We think we’ve done our part. Let’s get s-mashed.

Today’s delivery is brought to you by Bob Marley. The track we are bringing to you today is entitled “Soul Rebel” but it is off a remix album entitled Roots, Rock, Remixed. This track was remixed by Afrodisiac Soundsystem. The remix has alot of dub influence and it definitely has a great tune. Bob Marley’s voice sounds almost haunting in this mix. Every now and then we want to throw in some classic reggae music. We do this because reggae can usually put you in a good mood pretty quickly if you really appreciate. A Lot of reggae has very chill tones while still covering deep topics. The reggae interludes that we bring you wont always be the “newest” songs. In fact, a lot of them will be classic songs but a lot of people still have not heard them. It’s our job here  to expose you to new old things sometimes. The reggae track brought to you today is by Macka B who is a reggae artist that hails from Britain. He got started in the late 80’s after he spent time in Jamaica. He has worked with many artists and is a legend of his genre. The track is called “Bob (Everybody Loves Bob Marley)” which is a tribute to the legend Bob Marley.
