In a way i’m bringing you two songs today. The initial song is called “Yesterday & Today” which features Murs as the MC and 9th Wonder on the beat. This song is one of the reasons I do the Daily 2% in the first place. 9th Wonder beats will be put in the Daily 2% pretty often just because of the style.

The Murs+9th Wonder track samples from the William Bell song entitled “Yesterday I Lied, Today I Cried” and I feel i need to put this one up too because that song is chill on its own. Its a bit of a downer if you listen to the lyrics but the sound of the song is very mellow. Check out both tracks below and just chill…..

Today’s delivery is brought to you by….well that’s a bit complicated. But relax I can explain. Tors is a producer originally from Australia but now living in Montreal. He took instrumentals and songs from the indie legend, Sufjan Stevens, and mixed them with classic hip hop songs. The song i’m bringing to you today is called “John Wayne Gacy Jr. / Specialize” which is a mixture of two songs. One being from Sufjan(“John Wayne Gacy Jr”) and the other from the 1995 single by Pete Rock & CL Smooth(“Specialize”). Tors made an entire mixtape that has a really good combination of hip-hop and indie beats. The entire mixtape is available for free below. But that’s enough explaining because its time to chill……

Today’s delivery isn’t a happy delivery. With the passing of Michael Jackson; we feel as though its only appropriate to put up a MJ related song in some way. This track is brought to you by Rhymefest. Its from his Michael Jackson tribute album entitled Man in the Mirror which is an amazing album The album takes samples and conversations MJ had in the past and makes it seem like he really is on the album. Today’s delivery is brought to you by the Hawaiian duo B.E.T (Big Every Time). This duo consists of: Timothy “Papa T” Troxell and Joe “J.D.” Daniels Jr(although i think they have a new member..not sure the details).  Both of these guys stand 6 feet tall and have a big presence. Their music is a mix of Hawaiian reggae/Jamaican covers/r&b and everything in between. You can’t deny their island style. Its chill and good to the ear. Today’s deliver is brought to you by Marlon Asher. Marlon hails from Trinidad and he got started in reggae around 2006. So, he’s a fairly new reggae artist but his first single, “Ganja Farmer”, made a big impact on reggae in Trinidad. It also sparked some controversy because of its edgy content. But, nonetheless, its a really good song whether is the content or just the vibe of the song. The song i’m bringing to you today is that aforementioned single called “Ganja Farmer”.
