Today’s delivery is brought to you by Lovage. Lovage is an group back from 2001 that consisted of Dan the Automator, Jennifer Charles, Mike Patton & Kid Koala(pictured) on the turntables. The group went on tour but didn’t really get bigger than the underground so not everyone may be familiar with them. The song I chose today is called “Everyone Has A Summer” and its from their album entitled Music to Make Love to Your Old Lady By. The whole album has great chilled songs that would be good for wooing the opposite sex and of course music you would listen to after the deed is done and you are relaxing with a cigarette. This particular song may not be completely “chill” with all the DJ scratching but that’s makes the song so good. Check it out the song below and just relax…

Today’s delivery is brought to you by Handsome Boy Modeling School. I’m sure most of the readers are familiar with this group so I wont go in to too much details but the group consists of Dan the Automator and Prince Paul. The song i’m bringing to you today is called “The Truth” and it features J-Live and Roisin and was released in 1999. The song is a great mix of hip-hop and jazzy/down-tempo and of course its a chill track. Unfortunately Prince Paul has said for sure that he has retired from HBMS so there will never be any future releases so we must let their past songs live on. Today’s delivery is brought to you by DJ Shadow & Dan the Automator. Most people should be familiar with these two artists and they should also be familiar with the album they did together. I do believe the album did slip by some so I wanted to post one of their chill songs. Its from the album they did together called “Bombay The Hard way (Guns, Cars & Sitars)” and the theme of this album all has to do with that “Indian”/Middle Eastern sound. The track is called “Professor Pyarelal” and its one of the chiller songs from the album.

DJ shadow has a few new projects coming up and one of them is to play a part in the new game called DJ Hero which will be made by the Guitar Hero folks and Dan the Automator has a new group called Crudo and also he’s been making beats for the new Adidas advertisements.
