Heads We Dance

If you were around in 2007, you’ll remember Heads We Dance (or at least you should).

Heads We Dance pop out of Leeds, UK and have been bringing their 1920s robotics + an Ian Curtis dangle to the synth aerodynamic pop scene for years now and want you to flip for them yet again! For years, I have been courting the women of Canadian trains, planes, and automobiles with tepr’s remix of ‘Love in a Digital Age‘, which broke hard on the toof, and other blogs, hearts and minds so many years ago, but in more current news..

Pete (of Heads We Dance) just sent Earmilk latest remix of “Model 21″ aka “Your Are Never Alone With Model 21″, which will be sliding its way onto “Dance Technology”, a remix album – which is set to release Sept 28th, as Pete explained:

“It will be available for a limited time as a free download from our website from 28th September.  After that it will be available from iTunes etc as usual.”Pete (Vocals & Synths)

So now, without further adieu I give what all the fuss will be about.

[09.04.2009]Bestrack – Sunset City EP [DEBUT + REMIXES]

Bestrack

Is it 2006? Don’t think so, and for some reason – it sounds so fresh. Maybe its just because its the one of the first new artists this year who’s original production and remixable tracks that garner howitzer style rotation.

Punchy synthlines, smooth transients, silky vocals, and air-ride bass hooks make you cream for more. Bestrack has the production value of Ghosthustler (a big favourite of ours), but has the electro spin. That is, support from the community for the dirtiest mixes I’ve herd in awhile.

Suicide Sundaes - Week 2

Suicide Sundaes – stop your grinnin’ and drop your linen. Every Sunday electblake and jsully of Earmilk will bring you the weeks dirty servings, and some old favorites through a throwdown-throwback to simpler times. A time when bangers were big, remixes were bigger, the bassline bled, and we didn’t care about anything as long as came in kicking and left screaming. To hell with sketchy sunday, we want to shove another dragon down the hole.

This week we’ve brought you the same greatness that you all ate up last week plus a bit more, including a new Don Diablo track that we received earlier this week, some o.g. Mux Mool, and the new Acid Girls beat that we’ve been waiting to drop on you this bright and painful Sunday. Keep Reading…
