Today’s delivery is brought to you by the Norwegian Electronica duo Röyksopp. Alot of the readers here may not be familiar with the group by name but probably have heard many of their tunes in Apple or Geico commercials. They released their third album entitled Junior this year and I would say that the album has so many good tracks but only a few could fit my description of what would work for Daily 2%. The track i’m bringing to you today is called “Silver Cruiser” which is a perfect track title. The track definitely feels like a Röyksopp track towards the end when you hear all the layering that seems to compliment the song so well. So listen to the track..sit back and relax…

Suicide Sundaes – stop your grinnin’ and drop your linen. Every Sunday electblake and jsully of Earmilk will bring you the weeks dirty servings, and some old favorites through a throwdown-throwback to simpler times. A time when bangers were big, remixes were bigger, the bassline bled, and we didn’t care about anything as long as came in kicking and left screaming. To hell with sketchy sunday, we want to shove another dragon down the hole.

Depeche Mode has an album entitled Sounds of the Universe that came out in April and they have just released their 2nd single from the album entited “Peace”.  You can check out the video below for “Peace”. The video was shot entirely in Romania and has a very “gritty” look. The song itself reminds me of Royksopp or other groups that have that electronic/synthpop sound. It may not be everyones cup of tea but dont miss out on this. Depeche Mode has been around long enough that you owe it to them to check out their stuff!
