When it comes to Twitter milestones, if you're an average Joe like myself you may celebrate by shouting out or dedicating a tweet to a special follower or something along those lines. However, if you're an artist Twitter milestones are opportunities to both draw in more fans/followers and in turn bless them with some new music.In like fashion, in celebration of reaching 3,000 followers on Twitter, Chicago beatsmith Thelonious Martin made good on a promise to release a new beat tape to commemorate his milestone.
The benevolent producer gifted Colors, his fourth tape released this year, to the masses earlier this week. The 10-track beat tape's theme is rather straightforward. The title of each track is a specific color which reflects the perceived vibe each track exudes. Check out the the ambiguous opening track "Nothing Rhymes With Orange" and the soulful love number "Red" and share your thoughts on Martin's mood altering beat tape.
