LA transplant P. Morris is fast on the rise. He’s already put in work with Le1f, Kelela, and Feist, and recently began his spring tour supporting FKA Twigs and Shy Girls (Tour dates and tickets below). Before he hit the road, he dropped us a little teaser with "BBHMMORRIS," a remix of Rihanna’s latest hit, “Bitch Betta Have My Money.” The artist takes our beloved bad bitch for a haunting and gritty turn, invaded by shrill yelps, groaning bass and lo-fi effects.
“BBHMMORRIS” is the first cut off P.Morris’ mixtape POP.MORRIS, coming out later this month on Bear Club Music Group (which he co-founded). POP.MORRIS is a two-volume world of music bringing together old (SOS Band, Isley Brothers, Beck, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Prince) and new (Beyonce, Young Thug, Mila J) under P.Morris’ snug umbrella.
