Alt rock powerhouse AVATARI is back with another irresistible and explosive musical offering. Called "In My Bones", the track is the first of the year following last year's single release "My Skin".
With "In My Bones" AVATARI releases a song detailing the intensity that is addiction, obsession, and a seduction that is all encompassing. Lyrics including, "I feel you deep inside my bones / Like you can see inside my soul / I need you like I’ve never known," shows just how desire can overtake, leaving the person helpless and in an altered state. While the feeling may not be healthy, it is deeply human and relatable all the same. Musically, "In My Bones" features pulsating bass, clashing electric guitars and pounding drums for a thrilling escape. Electrifying synthesizers and deep passionate vocals add to the song's allure. "In My Bones" strikes a balance between high-energy punk and more melodic alternative rock with flourishes of indie electronica, a combination that ensured its wide appeal.
AVATARI first started gaining attention with his 2023 release "Legacy" which was used in a Rolls-Royce campaign. The dynamic performer is inspired by musical icons Elvis, Mick Jagger, Prince, David Bowie, Freddie Mercury as well as Imagine Dragons and Twenty One Pilots. This year marks a massive year for the performer who is set to headline the Troubadour in Los Angeles as well as perform at this year's Outside Lands Festival.
